Amazing photos my friend. They have me smiling this morning.Hugs~
I have no regrets of you posting egrets.
Oh I love your snow:) Snowy Egrets are the most beautiful bird I have only seen one in my life he was truly lost in Canada:). Your photography always blows me away. Hug B
i wonder what he was going to do with the leaf? ( :
Beautiful!!! I'm sure glad Beth mentioned it was a leaf...I was beginning to think it was a crawdad/crayfish!!!Great reflections on a sunny day of stalking.
What a lovely bird. You capture it well!
Keep on tromping, please. He/she is a beauty!
I enjoyed seeing how you captured the feathered friend in the ripples of the water. gorgeous indeed! Hope you all enjoy a wonderful New Years week!!
fabulous birds and great shots!!! so jealous! :)
Beautiful photos! I wish we had some of these guys around here. I have seen them on one particular lake, but it's quite a drive. It's cool to watch herons and egrets fishing!
I love those guys
A fine series of this beautiful bird. You also caught some good action in these images.
Only for a split second did I wonder if you could possibly have had snow. With all the strange weather phenomena recently, anything is possible. But then, even before clicking on your blog link, I knew it would be snowy egrets. And what fantastic photos of them. In the photo with the leaf, it looks as if there's something else on the leaf that the egret might have been going for. The leaf appears to have been secondary.
geweldig mooi, wat een momenten pak je hier.
They are gorgeous and your photos show them off brilliantly!
Beautiful shots of the egret!!
What a beauty !Wonderful pictures.
I always love when it snows egrets!Happy New Year...I'll see it in w/my second child and her family!
Looks like the Egret got hold of old fishing line and hook. I hope he did not swallow it. Dianne
Gail, beautiful captures of the Snowy.. Wishing you all the best in 2014, Happy New Year to you and your family!
Is that a leaf? Anyway, just beautiful. Hope you had a nice Christmas Gail and wishing you the happiest of New Year's! xo
What absolutely fabulous birds...and what amazing photos! (When I get organized, I'll post some "snowy" photos...with real snow!)
Beautiful photos.I love the patterned reflections.
So beautiful! Last year I discovered that my great-grandmother was active in the struggle to save egrets. At that time their feathers were popular in fashion, especially hats, and the poor birds were being killed for their feathers. Some ladies publicized this and effectively ended the fad of wearing egret feathers.
So lovely, especially how you caught the reflection of the egret in the water!! You are a master photographer Gail!! Whoops - caught a leaf :-}}
Yes, for a moment I thought it snowed there Gail :) Such beautiful pictures and reflections! Wish you a very happy new year Gail! Much love :)
Really beautiful pictures!My compliments!
