More Digital Cleaning

Pushing to clean up my hard drive so I can move the original Lightroom files to my external device at year end. Raw files are awesome, but they are awesomely HUGE. My Mac is about to burst!

Wonderful photos, but I think the "love bug" is what we call a lightening bug" around the South.

What a charmer!!! That dog is so darned cute. I too would seriously consider carrying her home in my tote bag.

As always, Gail, terrific images.

I love the picture of Cowgirl!! How beautiful!

Wonderful photos as always!

I know what you mean about raw files. I save my raw files to external drives too, but BEWARE! I dropped one external hard drive in early October and LOST everything on it (January through September 2013). Fortunately I had many duplicates still on my computer but I did lose some photos I loved. (I might be able to retrieve some of the photos if I were willing to spend $1,500. Hmmm.) Please be more careful than I was!

What a gorgeous (chihuahua) girl, no wonder you considered dognapping!

You have some very nice macros, and you are right about RAW. I wouldn't have it any other way though.

A great feast for the eyes !! I do love macro.
Glad you didn't turn into Cruella Daville ,hmm did I spell that right ( 1oo+1 Dalmation movie) ~ but with that little cutie I would have considered dog napping too !

Awesome first photo of the yellow butterfly against the red flower!!
Isn't lantana a neat flower. In Fla., it's a weed that grows out among the orange trees - but it's interesting that the love bug likes sweet things too! Boy those love bugs can be a pain to clean off your car!! Don't miss them for a second!

Stunning shots - I adore that first one.

Good golly, miss Molly! These are all wonderful. That first one, though...that's in a class by itself.

I may be repeating myself here but your macro shots are top-notch! I've never seen a chihuahua like that before either.

That first shot is amazing!

ja ze zijn wel erg groot, maar het heeft ook zijn voordelen wat een mooie foto,s kiezen hieruit is zeer moeilijk maar wat een heerlijk hondje ja dat stopt je zo in je handtas.

Really enjoyed going through your beautiful images in this post. I need to do a lot of purging myself, but sometimes it's like picking a favorite child.

My Goodness, Gail! I never thought you could improve on your photography or post processing, but after being away for a few months, I can't believe the difference! Absolutely magnificent!

A fabulous series of photos Gail. I loved the vibrant contrast of colors in your first and of the bug, and Cowgirl but all of them were incredible! Have a great weekend :)

Your photos are just wonderful. You excel at insect. And adorable, unusual pups. What a cutie.

I've not been photographing in RAW, really. I've tried it here and there but I'm not convinced that I'm getting the best out of it. I'm in need of a tutorial, I suppose.

Still lovin' your randomocity and still envying your tenacity in getting this job done! I'm not a huge dog person, especially little tiny dogs, but that one is really cute.

Soooo... beautiful Gail :) I love popping by your blog and looking at nature's magnificence :)

I never keep my RAW files that must be wrong. Once I've edited photos I throw them away! Maybe I should keep them even once. You leave here again some beautiful pictures which I see the vlidner and Cowgirl find really super nice :-)
