More Madisonville

Love. This. Place. First week of November, Madisonville, Louisiana.

Double D says HI!
We don't know what this structure is, but we plan to go back and have a picnic.
Linking with Our World Tuesday. (Sorry it's being posted on Wednesday, but I can't get my act together, and the holidays have me a little grumpy).

Another fine series, LB. I love the pelican on the post as you captured a great moment, and both the DOF and colour in the seagull photo were perfect.

I love that picture of the pelican on the wood post :)

Oh come now. You can't be grumpy with photos like this to soothe you! The fall colors and the sunrise/sunset are beautiful. I liked the silhouette shot of the birds on the posts and the stretching pelican. I'll bet the guys in the boat thought you were taking their picture. If they see this post, they'll be disappointed that you thought the back ends of birds were more interesting. :)

Fantastic pictures, such beauty down in your State. I love them all but particularly the pelicans because I so rarely get to see them. Neat shot of them on the pylons. Thanks also for stopping by and wishing us a Happy Anniversary :)))

We can all wave hi to Double D! Love the images. Some of my favorites are the first shot, the photo with the fishing boat and the Pelican.. But, they are all lovely images. Have a happy day!

Another beautiful series, Gail. It looks like they're probably building a boathouse.. or something.

I love the image of the gulls on the posts, with the out of focus boaters in the background. That's a fine, evocative photo.
