Fontainebleau, Part II

More of our day at Fontainebleau State Park.
Shallow waters with sandy beach.
I'm too afraid of the brain-eating amoebas to get in there.

Anhinga

How delighted I was to see a rabbit AND a fawn together. Awww!

Time to skedaddle!

Children playing on low-lying live oak branch

Linking to Skywatch Friday. Many thanks to the meme's host!

Great photos, Gail. The clothes in the bushes reminds me of hanging laundry at my aunt's home 60 years ago! But I suspect these are from some skinny dippers!

Apparently the skinny dippers have no fear of the amoeba, but I think you're the smart one.

I almost missed the rabbit in the picture of the fawn, and would have if you hadn't pointed it out. That's such a sweet photo. The one of the kids playing on the live oak is gorgeous, and I like the bare trunk in the last shot, too.

beautiful images as always. The clothes scattered in the brush made me chuckle. That fawn and rabbit together are absolutely precious. And that might oak with her low lying branches adorned with moss...LOVE it!

I laughed at the clothes and thought skinny dipping. :)

Oh my....can't believe you were able to capture the fawn and the rabbit in one picture. and....they are both sooo stinking cute! I must say, I do believe that Louisiana is a state of beauty. So much nature around and so much depth into the history of the state...

Impossible to pick a favorite from these beautiful, thoughtful photos. I do like the waterfowl discreetly hidden at the top of the post.
