Shallow waters with sandy beach. I'm too afraid of the brain-eating amoebas to get in there. |

brain-eating amoebas I heard about that on TV the other day I had no idea there was such a thing. Scary. Hug B
Beautiful images....what a glorious, wonderful, serene area!!!
Love the fawn. AND the live oak tree with the moss too.
Really nice photos
Wow brain cramp never mind we already are FB friends LOL
Great photos, Gail. The clothes in the bushes reminds me of hanging laundry at my aunt's home 60 years ago! But I suspect these are from some skinny dippers!
Apparently the skinny dippers have no fear of the amoeba, but I think you're the smart one.
I almost missed the rabbit in the picture of the fawn, and would have if you hadn't pointed it out. That's such a sweet photo. The one of the kids playing on the live oak is gorgeous, and I like the bare trunk in the last shot, too.
beautiful images as always. The clothes scattered in the brush made me chuckle. That fawn and rabbit together are absolutely precious. And that might oak with her low lying branches adorned with moss...LOVE it!
Hello lovely lady :) Oh the water looks so pretty and inviting and the fawn with the rabbit is just too precious! It's nice to visit you, dear friend...I have missed you!
Gosh it's beautiful there.

Love that shot of Thumper and Bambi!! All so beautiful, Gail!
Fun photos of the wildlife. Interesting articles of clothing on the bushes. ;))
Ahhh, that little deer and the rabbit tug at my heartstrings. Beautiful captures!
I laughed at the clothes and thought skinny dipping. :)
The tree is like a fine sculpture.
Enjoyed all of these!
Oh my....can't believe you were able to capture the fawn and the rabbit in one picture. and....they are both sooo stinking cute! I must say, I do believe that Louisiana is a state of beauty. So much nature around and so much depth into the history of the state...
have a fabulous weekend..
shug
I would like to visit there! The image of the oak trees above that soft green carpet....beautiful. (Interesting shot of the various pieces of clothing scattered in the shore grass, too!)
Your photos are awesome Gail. Bambi and Thumper jumped into my mind also :)
Love that majestic tree!
Beautiful shots. The fawn is adorable - what a sight to see him with the rabbit!
I like the cast off clothes shot - it tells all sorts of stories!

Impossible to pick a favorite from these beautiful, thoughtful photos. I do like the waterfowl discreetly hidden at the top of the post.
The rabbit and fawn made me laugh! Very cute! I love all those big trees! They're impressive.
