Here comes the sun, doo doo doo doo doo

I have been singing that George Harrison ditty all morning long. Up since 5AM, I cleaned and filled all the bird feeders, drank two cups of coffee, did my morning devotionals, and now headed off to let Brittany do something with this mop of hair. After that, I am going to soak up every bit of sun possible! Today would've been my mom's 74th birthday. It seems fitting that the sun should emerge today after two long weeks of gray skies and dreary rain. Happy birthday, mama. You are greatly missed.

There is a God! She probably put in a good word with Him/Her for the sunshine! Happy Birthday to your mama!

We've had rain for four days and are waiting for the storm...sleet or snow.

Nothing like a new do to make one feel human. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday to your mama. And a hug for you. It's never easy. My mom was born on New Year's Day. There's always a toast!

Really happy to read you've got sunshine. That means it'll spread to us -- snow this afternoon, bleak skies tomorrow, then SUN, yay!

Happy Birthday Mom...sun shine and a trip to the hairdressers is just what you need to brighten your day....and a great photo of the dragonfly helps too!!

And now you've got all of us humming that song! So glad you seem to be fully recovered from that flu bug. Nothing like a little sunshine to perk a person up. Lovely macro of that dragonfly.
