My Beautiful Autumn

We had so much fun visiting with my daughter and her boyfriend. We picked them up at New Orleans International Airport, hit the French Quarter immediately after, and never stopped to take a breath. Loved every single minute! No, cherished. Okay, loved and cherished. Since they left, I've been hitting the stores trying to get ready for my trip to Dallas tomorrow. I really wanted see our other kids and grandkids before Christmas and hand deliver their goodies. Whew doggies, I am one tired mama.
At Pat O'Briens (iPhone shot)
I love this girl. She is so much like my mother: gracious, kind and loving.
On the river, New Orleans (iPhone)
Jason is a sweetheart and takes very good care of my girl.
My daughter and our precious little cousin, Brody (iPhone)
Jason & Autumn on top the levee, across the street from my grandparents' property.
She used to always tease me for buying wedge heels and look what she's wearing! Haha
Sunshine, Louisiana
My dad, Autumn & Jason
Magnolia, MS
Planning to make blog rounds tonight after dinner. I've missed everyone!

Welcome back, Gail. We missed you but knew you were having special times with Autumn. Looks like Jason is a bit of a photographer himself. Enjoy your visits in Dallas!

I saw your comment on Ed and Reub. I live in Oregon but am from Brookhaven, Mississippi, which is 100 miles north of New Orleans on I-55.

Gail! lovely! i was wondering yesterday where you were, and i thought, 'is she the one that said she would be gone for a week?' sorry, but it is hard to keep bloggers time away announcements straight.

so glad to see you now!!! i missed you. i really did!!!

lovely daughter and lovely photos!

i don't know if my camera is a DSLR or not. it is a fujifilm S2950 and it doesn't have a fancy lens. i think it just a complicated point and shoot that is too techy for it's own good.

thank you. i blogged about it last week and showed a pic of it.

Nice set of family pictures.

More than a little of my "Help, I'm busy" comes from my own failure to read my diary! I will slow down very soon!

Good to see your family looking so relaxed in front of the shy one with the I-Phone Gail. Looks like you don't actually need that fancy Canon after all, so just send it over here.

Your daughter is really lovely -- her beauty both inner and outer shine through your pictures. I'm glad yhou like Jason, that's so important and so wonderful when it happens that way!!! Love the last one. Lucky grandpa!

(Of course I love the PLACE where you were too, but that's not as important as your family time!)

Gail! news! i traded in that 'fuzzy focus' junk of a camera (fujifilm) for an AWESOME Sony cybershot again. So once my computer gets repaired or replaced, i'll be at full form, whawhooo!!! yes my heart is full of sorrow regarding Newtown; too horrible, sad and fearful to comprehend.

take care girlfriend! :D
