Think Pink!
My sweet blogging friend, Renae, of Simple Sequins, has recently discovered that she has breast cancer and will soon start treatment. Her blog is about fashion, and she simply shines when she is modeling her ensembles. Renae's attitude is perpetually upbeat and she's incredibly KIND with a huge HEART.
For Valentine's Day I thought I'd try to honor Renae and let her know that I am praying for her and thinking about her each day. May God continue to watch over you and others battling this disease. I am confident you are going to beat this and do it in big style along the way! Hugs and love to you dear girl. ♥

God bless you both
Oh Gail this is perfectly beautiful. My thoughts and prayers to your friend Renae. Hug B
What a wonderful way to support your friend. And I can't think of anything - or anyone, for that matte - that shows off a pink bow tie better than a tufted titmouse!
Here's to the support of friends through thick and thin.
Sending well wishes for your friend Gail.
That little titmouse and what it is standing for, melted my heart. Beautiful sentiment.

So sweet! And that bird was a trouper, letting you hang that pink bow on him/her!
A fine wish for your friend in picture and words. Very nice shot, but the prayers and sentiment are what's important.
My sincerest thoughts and prayers are going out to Renae!!
That is a very special post. May your friend find peace and strength through this journey.

Think Pink...Very Important. Now how did you get the Titmouse to wear pink?
This is beautiful, Gail! Right now, I have three women friends in desperate fights against cancer. I appreciate this post!
I would like to join you in prayer for your friend, Renae. Any battle with cancer is difficult, but just knowing that people are praying, can certainly be a blessing.

A very good friend of ours is a few months further down this road than your friend - send her our best wishes and energy!
The stats course is over - but I need to re-boot my brain! A day of birding should do nicely!

Beautiful and thoughtful post Gail! You also have a great big heart!!! xxoo
What a perfect way to show support! I will keep your friend in thoughts and prayers. Firm believer of "the more the better!!"
Prayers for Renae! What an awesome way to honor her, Gail.
WoW how very sweet and thoughtful!! Stupid cancer, can't we find a cure!!
You are a dear friend!!
I missed that from Renae. I'll have to go over there. I just love your bird!
A beautiful post, Gail. Renane will definitely be in my prayers. My sister beat a very aggressive form of breast cancer and has been free for 10 years. The docs wanted to do a single mastectomy but she insisted upon a double mastectomy, what we think saved it from reoccurring. Here's hoping Renane recovers soonest and gets on with her life.
Gail, I'm leaning toward neutrals. What's your fav combo??
Amen to all the above Gail, and thanks for stopping by.
All the best Gordon.
A truly sweet post Gail and I will add my prayers and good wishes for Renae's journey back to 100 percent good health.
Gail, I will be praying for your friend. I will visit her to and encourage her. Thanks for sharing. This issue is so important. I just love the beautiful bird picture too. ;)
What a thoughtful post.
Best, healing thoughts to your friend Renae.
Ach, wie niedlich. Welch schöne Bearbeitung. Interessant auch die Fotos in ihrem vorhergenden Post.

Sorry to hear that Gail your girlfriend has breast cancer. Soon they start treatment against this dreaded disease and I hope she comes through very well. Wish her strength and strength for you.
Very nice that you focus point on your blog.
I can say with no reservation that I love Renae. For lack of a better way to say it here, I am planning to post a poem on my blog soon in dedication to how we are all truly connected. Thank you for dedicating this post to a most brilliant woman with a smile that is courageous and that can knock down the walls of the unknown. Many thanks! Anita
