The state of Louisiana is really very pretty...gorgeous birds, love the moss hanging in the trees and cypress tree is just one of my favs. Looks like your outing was very relaxing and enjoyable...

It's a fascinating locale, Gail! So different from what I'm accustomed to, of course. The young blue heron has a purple head? These are such great shots...wonderful commentary on your visit.
