Two mothers were out doing an Easter photoshoot with their darling girls. I couldn't help getting my own shot. They were so adorbs! |
Thanks again to Frank at FABirding for helping me with my blog crisis yesterday. All of my posts were still in English, but my dashboard and settings were in some kind of African language I'd never heard of! Note to self: Stay away from blog settings when tired.
Also a big thank you to my wonderful blog pals for sticking with me during this blogging transition I'm finding myself in. Not sure once a week blogging will cut it...we'll see how it goes. I will be making rounds the rest of the week, so if I haven't gotten to you yet, please be patient. :)

Hello Gail, lovely flowers and images. The wisteria and the tulips are my favorite.. They are just beautiful. Have a happy day! Happy Easter to you and your family!
Wonderful images! What a joy to see on a grey day. Happy Easter to you.
Just the thing to lighten spirits and brighten smiles! Absolutely beautiful!
erg mrph ergle...so beautiful
Beautiful images of this beautiful garden, Gail.
Photo 3 I find really great.
Fortunately, the problem with the blog solved.
My goodness, how beautiful! I sure love trees draped with spanish moss…wish it were like that here!
The second I see Afton Villa I know I'm in for a treat! Cute capture of Spidey and my most favorite is the statue of course with all that lovely moss swaying in the breeze! Beautiful photos!
the 3 princesses are adorable! love the lane of trees! my goodness!
Blogger templates and settings are mysterious things. I have been trying to set up a new blog and trying to customize it hasn't been for the faint of heart. Especially, when I accidentally paste in silly font size setting.
Gorgeous gardens and you did them proud! Love all the statues, and that tree-covered road is fabulous!
Wonder if some gremlin w/computer hacking skills changed that setting for you. One never knows what unwelcome troll is lurking.
These are all lovely. I cannot pick a favorite. Beautiful array of colors, flowers and subjects!
Glorious views of all the Spring blooms.
I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend Gail.
Envious of your amazing Spring flowers. You know you have the best of all possible worlds...all the wonderful birding we have here, but you still get Springtime just like we used to get in Oregon and don't here.
I've cut back to two or three at most posts a week , can't keep up with visiting if I do more (with (blog friends) . Of course not to mention my non-virtual life!
Every photo is perfect!
What a beautiful garden! The weather must be just perfect there in the springtime.
What a glorious burst of color!
this place looks wonderful, like my longwood gardens!!!
those little girls look adorable, that's an awesome spot for easter pic's!!!
Your Spring photos are great for a sense of normalcy. The children tell it all.
So glad your comments are back on, friend! What a beautiful place - how blessed you are - I don't think I would ever leave :) Love how you captured the light on those tulips.
oh Gail,Gail,Gail! So nice to see you at my new blog. Thank you. I was going to get to you today for sure. I'm trying to not be 'so occupied' with my new blog. Trying to keep my life in balance now that I have energy and abilities to do other stuff in my life. Cancer changed me. It made me more appreciative of serving others, caring for friends and family. I love blogging. It keeps me positive and happy. It really does.
I love those little garden nymphs you captured, especially at the angle you got. Yay!
Too bad you had that issue with the African dialect set on your computer. Glad your friend could help. Thanks for the compliments, my friend!! ♥renae
{have to sign in as simple sequins} {you drop down box needs to offer 'name/url' as an option but I have to comment to you, so it is in the form of simple sequins. i know, confusing}
Oh I love all of these! But especially the second to last. Fantastic!
Gosh girl....these pics are so nice. I would love to walk the area and see the gorgeous blooms. Sam and I were just talking about the deep colors in the wisteria this year. so pretty.
Gorgeous images. Those little girls look adorable.
What a gorgeous place. The flowers are stunning and I just loved the Wisteria with the statues. Darling shot of the little girls too.
You must have had a great time taking all these wonderful photos. The little girls were adorable. Sounds like you have been having an interesting time of it with blog issues. Hope that is the last of it :)
What extraordinary charm and beauty. I love it all, but especially enjoyed the wisteria!!!
Gorgeous garden! I grew up in Houston so I miss the Spanish moss festooning the enormous trees, and the Southern atmosphere. The moss and the Wisteria are so romantic with the statue, and I love the bright flowers with the fountain.
Wow! I'm blown away by the beauty of your shots!
glorious images! what a beauty!those little ones look so cute.
have a great day, gail. wishing you and yours a very happy easter! xoxo
Your pictures are gorgeous, Gail. For me as flower lover your post is a feast. 2 and 5 are my favorites. Happy Easter! Greetings, Joke
I love this color explosion.
Oh my goodness, the kids are so cute! I love wisteria..I don't see that much here, but I love the purple color. I love, love, love the the moss hanging from the trees.
Happy Easter to you and yours!
OOPS! I mistakenly left a comment on the wrong post. THIS is the paradise I was speaking of!
This is sure to enjoy. The color splashes of my screen and they are so happy. Yellow and purple, but also the flower garden, the path on either side of the flower initiation and water images. Wonderful to see and a lot of enjoyment.
Colorful captures!
Lovely happy world!
Beautiful place and wonderful captures, Gail. I could imagine myself walking along the tree lined path with the colorful azaleas in bloom and the Spanish moss lightly swaying in the breeze.
Absolutely incredible shots!! The azaleas reflecting in the pond, the statue with the live oak spanish moss blowing in the breeze!! The wisteria framing the statue!!
Glad that you're going to be posting once a week. I've had to cut back on catching up my favorite bloggers and my own blogging due to work and getting a new grandbaby. Too tired during the week because of work and too exhausted on the weekend due to my 2 yr. old Sadie :-}}
Extraordinary post Gail!!
