Thankful

My aunt's surgery was a resounding success! The only pain she has is from the incision site which is temporary. We are so thankful to God for answering our prayers, and for the dedicated family and friends who offered prayers on her behalf. Thank you, my dear blogging friends, for your kind words and prayers. Now if we could just get my dad's wife out of the hospital! Oy vey. Always something going on. I am so thankful to be back home to take care of my family when they need me. Please be patient as I try to hobble along and visit your blogs.

Needless to say I have not had time to get out with my camera, so I went back to earlier in the year and found images that I hadn't yet edited or posted. Without further delay, here they are.

Thankful for your aunt's great news. What is it that they say? "When it rains, it pours!" Hoping all is well with your dad's wife and that she will be home in no time at all. Sweet photos for this rainy day.

I am SO glad things turned out well for your aunt! I have Trigeminal Neuralgia as a result of Multiple Sclerosis, and it causes excruciating pain. I am not a candidate for the surgery.
Your photos are absolutely fabulous Gail, love that cardinal!!

I am such a sucker for those blue-feathered birds. Gorgeous shots! I did a quick catch-up and I'm so glad your aunt came through her surgery okay, plus I love your Billy Bass! Great catch and what a sweet gesture by your dad!

Thank the good Lord for your aunt's surgery success. Hope you have good news about your Dad's wife soon too. I have to say, Gail, WHY would you leave these amazing shots un-posted for so long!!! They are incredible! I am always so impressed with your photography talent.

Hi Gail, I don't know how you "save" images like these....they are so amazing I would not be able to wait to share them. They really are extraordinary!!

I wanted to send you a private message on facebook but I am all messed up with that messenger update and fb would not let me. I had the same nerve cut and my surgery was not successful. Five years of trigeminal nerve pain and it's just brutal, I am so happy your aunts surgery was successful and that she is doing so well!!

I am glad to read that the operation of your aunt went well and that she only has pain from the incision, now. I can imagine that you had to be there with the camera to go out any time, but these beautiful pictures of the birds are really great. I love the woodpecker but the other birds are fantastic. So beautiful all the colorful birds. My compliments.
