Wow! Great bird photography!
Gail these are fantastic captures. I love how abundant the Indigo Buntings are there in your area! I rarely see them up here :)
they are just SUPER Gail
April: southern babies are born earlier than northern babies. :)
Gail, these are pretty shots of the juveniles! I love the Blue Grosbeaks! Happy June!
I want to know why these guys don't visit Florida. Ack.Just not fair. The Canon is in. I'm playing.

gosh, you did great in finding these 3 types of handsome fellows just getting through puberty!
Such sweet youngsters. Gorgeous photography Gail!
Fantastic shots! When's the bird book coming out?
These are really great pictures, Gail.Always nice to see young birds.Greeting Irma
gorgeous birds and moreso they will be when they mature. Thanks Gail. Felicia
geweldig wat zijn ze mooi je raakt niet uitgekeken.
Super shots of the juveniles.
Those indigos have a very unique beak, don't they. The top is narrow, with the bottom nearly 3x as wide. I haven't noticed that characteristic on any other birds. It must be due to their specific diet. Great shots of these "teenagers", Gail!
Beautiful photos, such beautiful birds I see at least in your blog.Greetings.
Lovely details, Gail. I especially like the camouflage colour of the painted bunting, he is my favourite. :)
I would love to see these in person- the colors are so vibrant! Awesome captures!
Outstanding!Ain't spring wonderful? This is a great series of baby portraits, Gail! Very nice work!
Nice shots. I like how you got down low with the birds.
Happy Monday to you too Gail!! Lovely birds!! Interesting colored feathers. You always amaze me in capturing such awesome photos!! I KNOW these birds don't stand around and "pose" for you!!
What beauties ! Wonderful photos !
Looking at your photos makes me think I am in an excellent birding class.
oh gail, what sweet little youngin's!! you take the most amazing images, but i know you work hard at it and are very dedicated.....and i can also feel your love for it!!
Beautiful and sharp!
The painted bunting is gorgeous and the others are on the verge of showing their lovely colors. Nice shots!
immature and juvenile? They both sound young or which is younger of the two? Pardon my bird knowledge ignorance. I just know you have fabulous photography skills. :)Ya, shaving was the wrong thing to do. I should have literally pulled it all out while I could get a hold of it. Major frustration going on over here at my house. However, later in the week I get to attend a free make up class for breast cancer gals and I get to have a boat load of free cosmetics donated from major department stores. Yayayyyay!!!I am grateful for your prayers! ♥, Renae
What fantastic captures, and I'm so impressed with your bird knowledge!
These birds have a special and unique beauty in their multicoloured coats.
Awesome shots my friend. Love them all..Hugs~
Beautiful! I showed my husband your photos since I am always bragging about you to him and the first thing he said was, "Oh wow!" while his mouth hung open in awe :)Hugs to you!
Thank you for sharing these beautiful babies. (Your photos are better than my Audubon book.) Plus also you still have your post title mojo -- that is such a cute title ... made me smile (rather shamefacedly, because I could hear my own voice using those words in not such a lovely way!)
Love all the detail and colouring of these birds. Fabulous!
Absolutely amazing shots of these birds! The indigo bunting looks so fascinating. This color ... gorgeous!
How interesting the many different colors of this young bird....love it
