| The wind was kicking up quite a bit, so I know this is not in complete focus, but I was hoping someone could help identify this tree. Since I took this shot last week, all these trees are completely red now. UPDATE: Using an app called Leafsnap, I was able to identify this as a Willow Oak! |
I will be in Mississippi fishing at Lake Okhissa today, so I'll catch up when I return. Y'all have a good one!

These are wonderful, Gail. Now, wasn't that worth the wait? The image with the white berries and red leaves against the blue sky is my favorite. It just pops.
I just went back and looked at that picture again and realized that the blue in the background is water. Oh well. It's early.

I think Chinese tallow trees are so beautiful in the autumn. Makes me almost miss Houston! We have those last ones here, too, and I don't know what they are, but they are pretty magnificent, aren't they?
