  1. Wow, Gail! You never cease to amaze me with your incredible captures. The approaching hummingbird is stunning. I wonder if it's a juvenile .. there's only the faintest hint of red on its throat. And the one in the first photo .. Ruby-throated are the only hummingbirds we get up here but I've never seen one with such colours.

  4. I love hummingbirds (probably because we don't have them here in Germany) and these shots are so incredibly AMAZING!!! Wow! Your shots are always so beautiful. Just love all these pictures.

  33. Beautiful shots, Gail! I love the fall colors around the gazebo! It looks very neat right over the water, though if it were here in Iowa it would probably get flooded with the thaw every other spring. I like how you have the spider's eyes in such perspective! I've never seen a spider quite from that angle before (could it be because I kill them too soon if they're indoors, and stay away from them outdoors--I think I'm missing out!). Gorgeous photos of the hummingbirds and egrets!
