Strike a Pose

Photos taken Jan 3 and Jan 12 around our Capitol. I don't mind seeing these guys when I'm out and about. Just as long as they stay the heck out of my yard.
A cherished gift from the bread lady.

  6. We have several that hang out here...they love our pecan trees!! They are pretty fast at grabbing up the fallen pecans.
    Pretty sure that he was happy to be stealing the show while you photographed him...Great photography!!

  17. I love squirrels. I have about 15 that frequent my yard and feeders. I can feed a couple by hand. My daughter calls me "The Nutty Squirrel Lady". Those are brilliant shots Gail!

  18. They are cute, and indeed are survivors in the urban environment. I greatly enlarged a squirrel eye reflection like the one in your last photo and could see myself holding the camera!(In fact I put the photo in a forthcoming blog post).
