Extreme Close-ups

I was able to get super close to a great egret earnestly fishing on the side of a pond. This is the most laid-back one I've come across. Very patient and gracious.

we'd all be much happier.

  19. I am impressed that you were able to get that close to him. There are a few of them out this way that like to hang out just by the roadside. Often I've thought of stopping to snap a few shots...but naturally I never have my camera when I pass by. Hope you are bracing for our 2nd Winter Storm within a week. Big hugs...stay warm!
