Beadazzled

This is one way to dress up a chain-link fence. Mardi Gras beads year-round! Spotted this as we were leaving Breaux Bridge, LA last weekend. This old house sits on the main drag around the corner from the antique district. I wouldn't do this to my home, but I think it's super cool!

  6. And a longhorn skull over the doorway!

The beads would not look as good anywhere else other than Louisiana. :)

  7. It's hard to imagine that it doesn't get vandalized.

Your camera and lens combo do wonders for you. I had thought you would be into a newer camera because of the clarity that you get, so good on ya for doing so well with an older model.

  18. GREAT beaded fence!! Put a big smile on my face!!
When we were in NO over spring break - soon after mardi gras- I was amazed at all the beads in the trees along St. Charles!! Assuming the beads fall out eventually - but really kinda neat!! Rather Unique!!

  23. How fun to make a show piece of the fence! That poor house, though, sure does need a paint job.
