He was tired for about a month, but we just thought it was due to allergies and time change. He usually runs 25-30 miles a week, but started having shortness of breath and went to the doctor. No heart attack, but he was set up for a heart cath. He had a stint from 17 years ago that was about 60% blocked at the end, so they put another one inside of it. Then he had a 95% blockage at the bottom of his heart and had to put two different sized stints in. Apparently, when that was done, he threw a clot and had a heart attack when he got back to the room. They rushed him back down to the Cath Lab and broke up the clot and put in 2 more stints to block the tear ... It was pretty scary. The reality didn't hit until the next morning when the doctor said he was dying when they took him back for the second procedure and the nurse told him they were worried he would not make it through the night. God protected me from that reality until the next day.

Anyway ... he's fine. Almost back up to where he was in his jogging and weights and is even cutting grass. Hope Double D is doing as well.Laura Delegal - Leroy Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09013642027767392349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5064619473180096184.post-30282733030064937712012-04-27T13:01:52.301-05:002012-04-27T13:01:52.301-05:00well little lady, you have had a time of it. happ...well little lady, you have had a time of it. happy news that the mister will be around for a long while.

i enjoyed the photos so much.

thank you, for sharing.the wild magnoliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14355836751549469688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5064619473180096184.post-67052628095471638992012-04-27T12:53:11.855-05:002012-04-27T12:53:11.855-05:00Gail -- I had been checking your blog off and on a...Gail -- I had been checking your blog off and on and didn't know if you were still at it... great to see you.

Glad your hubby is okay now -- and that you are enjoying your new home.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06116903234641971344noreply@blogger.com
