  13. Beautiful shots of Irises. The dandelion puff doesn't look like anything I've seen. Perhaps I need to look more closely. I have found the odd seed with its parachute in my garden , however.

  16. My mother used to call Iris blooms "flags" because in PA when I was a girl they bloomed around Memorial day. You already have so much growth and color - enjoy!

  21. I do, too! All I have are the wild things near me, but one day I hope to grow some daffodils and irises again. Beautiful shots!

  22. Very pretty! Such a beautiful variety of colors. I'm starting to see wild irises around here, but always along busy roadsides where I can't stop to photograph.

  24. Your irises are lovely, I don't have any of that type. I like the unusual red combination of the first photo, your flowers seem to be ahead of mine. Isn't spring wonderful!

  33. Absolutely stunning flower photography. Iris are special to me -- and they will still be in bloom when we get back to Oregon, so they are one of my old favorites I do still get to see.

Thanks for the spring beauty -- you have a lot more familiar spring flowers up there than we do down south here.
