So do I, Gail! Aren't they just gorgeous. And it's so nice that spring has finally returned after a long winter. I am appreciating every flower even more this year!
such sweet blooms.....I only wish they lasted longer than they do. Hope you had an awesome weekend....I know you were headed for fun times. Blessings Gail
Beautiful shots of Irises. The dandelion puff doesn't look like anything I've seen. Perhaps I need to look more closely. I have found the odd seed with its parachute in my garden , however.
My mother used to call Iris blooms "flags" because in PA when I was a girl they bloomed around Memorial day. You already have so much growth and color - enjoy!
Your "flower-power" was just what I need earlier today, my friend. I wasn't able to comment at the time, but these lovelies were better than my mid-afternoon jolt of java! {and that is saying a lot, lol!} Absolutely stunning, Gail!
Very pretty! Such a beautiful variety of colors. I'm starting to see wild irises around here, but always along busy roadsides where I can't stop to photograph.
Your irises are lovely, I don't have any of that type. I like the unusual red combination of the first photo, your flowers seem to be ahead of mine. Isn't spring wonderful!
Jeez ..... what a beautiful photos of these flowers. And indeed it does not matter whether it is farmed or wild, they are all wonderful. I think a whole separate photo 5 flower. What is this beautiful flower ????
Absolutely stunning flower photography. Iris are special to me -- and they will still be in bloom when we get back to Oregon, so they are one of my old favorites I do still get to see.
Thanks for the spring beauty -- you have a lot more familiar spring flowers up there than we do down south here.
Irises are gone now - but a wonderful revisit!! Macro of flowers are always amazing!!! Sad that our normal vision misses so much of the detail of flowers!! Lovely Gail!!
