Gorgeous photos as always, Gail. Bumblebees were very rare here this summer and I don't know exactly why but it bothers me...:(

ReplyDeleteHello, my dear lady! The flowers are like sunshine...there is no sun shining here because we have been getting snow {which I don't mind}, but seeing your blossoms have "brightened" my day :)

Wonderful bee shots, especially the petals around the head one -- didn't notice it was out of focus, was just so enamoured with the behavior and that you caught it. I always say I steal flowers (but only photographically). Sometimes I give the neighbors a picture of their beautiful flowers just to pay them back.

One last thought on that topic....I love flowers and I often have cut flowers in our home....however, there is a huge difference between picking garden flowers, and picking flowers in a public place that is meant to be enjoyed by MANY people. (Especially when there is a sign that request the flowers not be picked)
